Cast Iron Tawa will improve your cooking experience while making rotis, chapatis or naan. This tawa is sleek, smooth and safe. The wooden handle provides a comfortable grip for easy handling. Since it is completely made of natural materials, the cast iron tawa is healthier than a non-stick tawa.

Things to consider before the first use

Clean the new cast iron tawa with a mild dishwashing liquid detergent and water. Next, wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Apply any cooking oil all over the tawa and then heat over a medium flame. Remove from the flame after 20 mins and allow the tawa to cool down completely. Wipe off excess oil, if any.

Repeat these steps a few times before you start using the tawa. This will bring the desired cooking results.

Over a period of time, your tawa will get a non-sticky surface. Repeated seasoning and usage will enhance the food taste.

 

Does it have a Naturally non-stick finish?

Yes, all our cast iron products are pre seasoned which makes the product non stick while cooking.

Is the black color on the pan normal?

The black oil is supposedly the seasoning oil which is completely harmless. Frequent cooking and treating of the products might make the oil disappear

Is it easy to maintain cast iron products?

Yes, use mild liquid soap to clean the pan and scrub them with a soft scrubber. Rinse and thoroughly dry the Cast iron pan with paper towels and rub a very light layer of cooking oil.
